News! Update of Holly Haydens 2012 ‘H Miracle’ System

I recently received an email from Holly Hayden of the famous ‘H Miracle System’. I found what she had written so important that I immediately felt that it was vital that I shared with you her news. So here it is…

…Oh, before i forget … I just added a killer new interview
inside the new, HIDDEN bonus inside.

Oh and once inside, USE it! It was added just yesterday. Theres
a case study of a girl who remedied not only her hemorrhoids
but also chronic diarhea!

Here’s a priceless secret I feel obligated as a friend to
tell you about:

According to the results of a survey of close to 2,000
physicians, your doctor may not be telling you the truth.
The survey revealed that 55% of doctors, within the past
year, had been more positive about a patient’s prognosis
than their medical history warranted. What’s more, 10% had
told a patient an outright lie.

About a third of the MDs said they did not completely
agree with the idea that they should disclose medical
errors to patients.  And there were 40% who said they
didn’t feel any need to disclose financial ties to drug
companies.

Time Magazine reports:

“Nearly 20% of the doctors admitted that they didn’t
disclose a medical error to their patients because they
were afraid of being sued for malpractice.”

I don’t know about you but I am very glad that I now have this information to hand. It certainly needs further investigation don’t you think?

Now, regarding the ‘H Miracle System’! I urge you to click here and check out the updated interview and get hold of the HIDDEN bonus. But most importantly of all – get RID of those pesky hemorrhoids.  You will discover loads of excellent information on how to cure hemorrhoids in 48 hrs with Holly Hayden’s natural treatments and methods here.

Your Questions About Hemorrhoids And Surgery

Donna asks…

will hemorrhoids continue to get worse?

I developed external hemorrhoids while pregnant and I delivered almost two months ago, i went to the drs and she gave me proctosol hc cream and .. it did nothing. they’re not severe, they’re all smaller than the size of a pea however, i obviously don’t like them there. i returned to the doctor and she said basically i can live with them or have them surgically removed. i’m just curious, if i “live with them” will they get worse? (will more develop? get larger?) or will they stay the same?

scared to get the surgery, so any advice would help also!

admin answers:

Have you tried antibiotic cream and preperation H.

It is a good idea to get them removed so it clears any concern for future infections.

Nancy asks…

What gets rid of hemorrhoids? . .?

I have a hemorrhoid and had it ever since I had my 1st baby which was 4 years ago. It doesn’t bother me at all but it’s ugly and I want it to go away. Is there anything that gets rid of it besides surgery?

admin answers:

I do not know of anything besides surgery that gets rid of them, and I hear that it can be more painful after having the surgery. Ointments like Preparation-H are supposed to reduce inflammation. Eat enough fiber (don’t overdo it), avoid straining when moving your bowels, and go to the bathroom as soon as you feel the urge to avoid aggravating them further.

Maria asks…

i just have a baby 6 weeks ago together with that i developed a huge hemorrhoids.?

i am just recovering from my episiotomy and now i am scheduled again to have another surgery. do you think its worth it to have a hemorrhoidectomy? i am so afraid of the pain they describing to me. pls give me some advice

admin answers:

There are creams you can buy at your local grocery store that will get rid of the hemorrhoids. I wouldn’t suggest a surgical removal of that, I’m sure your doctor can pescribe some kind of medication that could get rid of them as well. Developing hemorrhoids is completley normal after giving birth and after all of the pushing you do.

Lizzie asks…

I have hemorrhoids and I don’t know what to do?

I googled cures and all it said was to have a high fibre diet or surgery, but it really hurts and I’m assuming the high fibre diet would take like a month. Is there any cream or anything to get rid of it or at least stop the pain while have a “high fibre diet”.

admin answers:

I don’t know about creams but Metamucil is pure fiber so it shouldn’t take but a day or two.

Carol asks…

I have an external hemorrhoid, and also some internal ones, should i have surgery to have them removed? 19/F?

admin answers:

Try this for 1 week first and think of surgery.
First thing in the morning -Sqeeze a whole lemon into a glass of milk and drink it.Do this for 7 days. The haemorrhoids should start to shrink.

Your Questions About What Causes Hemorrhoids In Men

Mark asks…

How can I tell if I have an internal or external hemorrhoid?

This is quite embarrassing, even though it’s only online..

For a while now, I’ve been experiencing constipation, though it is inconsistent. Some days it’s there, some days it’s not. I’ve started taking fiber, and that has made a difference in my stool, and so I don’t have to force the movement. Anyways..

I always thought hemorrhoids were puss-like blisters that formed around the anus. I never really knew what they were. For quite some time, after a strained bowel movement I had noticed a small lump on my sphincter. We all know what a sphincter looks like, so bare with me as I try to explain how it looked..

It was part of the sphincter. You know how it is a ring, with the hole in the center, and creases or lines or cracks (what ever you want to call it) caused by the tightening of it? Sort of like this -> * I wish it was bigger, but you know what I mean. Put a little circle around the star and it looks like a sphincter.. Anyways. One of the sections of skin, or muscle or what ever you call it, was swollen. So inbetween two lines, that ‘section’, was swollen. It wouldn’t hurt, but it would stick out from my anus considerably after a strained movement. I never really thought much of it, as it would go back in. I never experienced any pain or discomfort. It didn’t block my feces or anything like that, and never become irritated.

Anyways, today during my break at work, I was sitting on the toilet and as soon as I flexed my sphincter, I felt something that shouldn’t be there. I felt around, and the little lump that came from time to time had swollen up to about the size of a small grape – about 2 cm wide. I couldn’t do much at work, but for the rest of my shift, all I could focus on was the pain it was now causing me. It’s not a severe pain. It’s not enough to make me cry or scream, and it’s not a sharp pain. It’s like a pressure pain. Like when you cut off circculation to your finger for a long time and then squeeze your finger, forcing all the blood into your finger tip. That kind of pressure. Anyways when I got home, I bent over and looked in the mirror and it is a little sphere on the right side of my sphincter. ( +O) <– sort of like that, except the ball interferes with the sphincter hole. It is now swollen, and slightly light purple (before it became like this, the little swollen part that would come from time to time was not dis-coloured). Sorry to disturb you with details, but when I pass wind, I have to let it ease out. And when it does, it is sort of blocked, and makes a funny noise (like a peter griffin fart, haha). When I make a movement like I’m forcing out a bowel movement, the pain does not change. But, when I contract my sphincter, like I’m holding in a bowel movement, I experience more defined pain, as the lump is squeezed. I’ve been doing some research online, and cannot tell if it is internal or external. I have reason to believe that it IS external, since its on the outside and its causing me pain, but I am also not sure if it is just an internal hemorrhoid protruding from my anus! It is not bleeding, it is not violent looking, and though it is quite firm and shockingly not squishy, it is not extremely large or prominent. I have put on some hemorrhoid ointment, and am sleeping nude. I will be trying a few homemade remedies that I have come upon through yahoo answers, but I want to go and see my doctor asap. I have to wait until Tuesday though, since monday is a holiday (I live in Canada). Until then, I want to determine what kind it is. Can anyone help me? Jeeze, I’m only 18 and I have a hemorrhoid! Can you tell me the symptoms/ways to distinguish between internal and external? MAN this is ruining my night! PLEAsE HELP!

admin answers:

I think its an external pile..though sometimes the pile itself doesnot bleed..and not necessary that at an early stage you find al the typical features of an external pile..i did have the same problem and my doctor said its an external pile. An internal pile cant be seen easily .. U need a proctoscopic examination for that..Also an internal haemorrhoid doesnot cause pain except sometimes only during passing the stools,as the nerves in that region cannot sense the pain ..U cal them visceral nerves..As u said ur pain doesnot change with stool passage, i assume it to be an external pile…

Sharon asks…

what would cause rectal pain in a 33 year old man?

Serious answers only please. Ok, he is a 33 year old man. The pain started a while ago it is IN his rectum. It is not a hemorrhoid. It hurts so much sometimes he won’t sit down. He can’t ride in car as the pain is too much. I keep telling him to go get checked however he won’t listen, so I need some advise on what it may be. He has also had the hiccups for the last two days (like the whole time he is awake) thank you for your comments in advance.
he has had no bleeding in his stool, or otherwise, however his stool had gotten thinner.
he has also not had buttsex. Be serious!

admin answers:

It could be quite a few things all of which would benefit from a visit to the doctor. Ignoring the hiccups, which are probably unrelated, he could have an anal fissure which is basically a cut in the anal canal that has become infected. If it is this it will hurt a lot more shortly after having a bowel movement.

Your Questions About Hemorrhoids And Surgery

Charles asks…

I have 4th degree hemorrhoids that protrude from the anus & cannot be pushed back in. Can I remove it myself?

Creams or ointment wont make the skin tag retract on its own. I happen to live in a backward town where the government doctors refuse to perform surgery on me as it is not health-threatening. And I’m not a candidate for rubber band ligation. If I perform the surgery myself under anesthetic, will I die of infection or worse, cut a nerve or artery?

admin answers:

Just pull them out until you get them all out and cut them like an umbilical cord

Lizzie asks…

i don’t know why I have anal bleeding?

I has surgery for hemorrhoids in the beginning of the year. I wasn’t bleeding I just had a huge bump on the outside of my anus. About 3 weeks ago I was on the toilet to take a number 2 (bowel) and i was bleeding. It was bright red, lots of blood and blood clots wither i was passing a bowel or sitting i noticed it. I wanted to no if it was normal because the first time i noticed the blood i was staining but it’s been times after that I have been fine and i still bleed and still see blood clots. Just about a day ago i felt fainted and pain in my chest. Should I go to the hospital and get checked or is it something I can do at home.Thank you

admin answers:

You should not be on here asking the question go to the emergency room right away with the symptoms you are having it needs immediate attention. Call an ambulance a friend anyone and get going!

Maria asks…

Side Effects of Percocet? (constipation and hemorrhoids)?

Hi, I’m a 20 year old male that just underwent ACL and meniscus surgery about 3 days ago. I’ve been prescribed percocet (5/325) and I’m taking 2 every 4-5 hours for pain. I haven’t been able to poop since surgery and I’ve developed hemorrhoids, which are painful and bleed. I’ve been taking fiber pills and stool softners to try to remedy this, but I haven’t had any luck. I have never had hemorrhoids before, and was wondering if they are supposed to go away on their own or if i have to see a doctor about them. Are hemorrhoids a normal side effect of the drug? I’m guessing the constipation will go away after I quit taking the pills, hopefully in the next few days as the pain level goes down. I have a follow up with my surgeon’s PA in 3 days, so I’ll ask him about all this, but I just want some advice on dealing with this now. Thanks

admin answers:

Constipation, as you mentioned , is a common side effect of opiates. Which percocet, aka: Oxycodone is.

Now, hemorrhoids are a side effect of constipation. Not the percocet.

Your straining , or in any other way difficulty in defecating has caused the hemorrhoids.

If you treat them now, they can easily go away and not come back.

What has happened is through straining, even if it didn’t seem like much — or having a bowel movement but the fecal matter was too large — blood vessels have become enlarged and they are now easily lacerated and bleed.

1) Don’t strain at all.. If you can’t go, you can’t go. Let it come naturally, but with the hemorrhoids now, you can’t afford to put any excess pressure on it.

2) Use stool softeners LIBERALLY.

3) Fiber , aka: Metamucil,.. And regular fiber from foods will help.

4) Drink LOTS of fluids.

This is all you can do yourself, is take what you can to put more water in your fecal matter, and it will come.

If you are unable to even get it into the lower bowel/colon — then consider first using prune juice as a laxative. If this doesn’t work, use Miralax.

Your PA will be able to Rx things to help that are more or less effective than OTC.

You should be ok, but at the time you see your PA, if you haven’t emptied your bowels let him know. 6 days is a while, and let him know of your hemorrhoids.

Take care,

John asks…

what to do to get rid of hemorrhoids – PLEASE AWNSER ME?

it dosent hurt but i can see it and its not bleeding but its itchy.. how can i get it removed will it be like that for ever! or do i need surgery and do i have to go see a doctor..!!it dosent hurt when i go to the bathroom… HELP IM SCARED.. AND I DONT WANNA GO TO DOCTORS … its been like a day.. will it go away by it self..

admin answers:

I use 2 medications prescribed by my doctor: proctocedyl suppositories and ectosone cream. One is for the swelling and internal inflammation and the other is for the external redness and itch. I have used them for about 8 years and they control the problem. If there is prolonged or excessive bleeding and pain, minor surgery can correct it.
Good luck.

Your Questions About What Causes Hemorrhoids To Itch

Michael asks…

My hemorrhoid hurts so bad I can’t work…please help.?

Embarrassing I know, but I have a hemorrhoid. I had one or two before when I was pregnant, but not for a long time. I looked up all the causes and don’t know what caused mine. It just appeared out of the blue. I work as a server and I have been working lots of hours and I guess maybe being on my feet so much could have caused it. It doesn’t itch like others say they do, but mine hurts. I can push it back up but then within a few minutes it is back out. I have had it for 5 days. I got the pads, suppositories, and cooling gel. I stayed off my feet the past day and was feeling better- then went to the store tonight and within 45 minutes of walking it was back out and hurting me so bad. I am suppose to work all weekend…any suggestions???

admin answers:

You need to see a Dr. There is a medication called Proctofoam that you put in your anus that will shrink the hemorrhoid but you need a prescription to get it. If you are too embarrased to go to a man Dr go to a female. A GP or ob/gyn are both able to prescribe it for you. It helps a lot if used regularly. Also sitz baths are known to help and some women use a bag of frozen peas to ease the pain. Witch hazel will help also if you put it on a cotton ball and hold it on the hemorrhoid for several minutes a day. It will shrink the hemorrhoid. Usually being overweight is the only time they hurt when on your feet. If you are overweight, diet. The OTC stuff is temporary measures you need a prescription medication. Hydrocortisone 1% will help the pain some if you rub it on the hemorrhoid but it doesn’t shrink it like witch hazel or Proctofoam. See Your Dr.

Sandra asks…

Internal hemorrhoid?

Yesterday in the shower I felt a pea sized lump around my anus. I looked it up and the possible causes are colin cancer and hemorrhoids. Obviously I prefer it be one over the other. I have rarely noticed some dried blood on my toilet paper, but never payed much heed. Im just that kind of guy. On further inspection, the ‘lump’ is hard, not round, and sort of pointed. It sits just above (or below..it’s difficult to get oriented) the anus and will move a little bit. It’s painless though. I don’t really get any itching. I do do allot of standing, about 7 hours a day on average and I understand that can cause them. I’m 23 though, not 50. What do you think?

admin answers:

I don’t think u should panic,a visit to a specialist would sort you out….
I was diagnosed with cits once of my GP but when i have seen a specialist it wasn’t what the GP said….
I think u shoud go to the doctor…

Donna asks…

Does an external hemorrhoid necessarily hurt?

I have a lump at the edge of my anus. The only reason I noticed it is that I felt it when I wiped after defecating. I’ve had it for a couple or three weeks, and it hasn’t changed in nature at all (size, shape, etc). It resembles what I believe a hemorrhoid to be in every way, except it causes no discomfort whatsoever. There’s no itching, burning, pain, or discomfort of any kind, yet every description of hemorrhoids I have read includes some sort of discomfort. Is it possible that it is a hemorrhoid even though it doesn’t hurt at all?

admin answers:

From what you describe, it could be an external hemorrhoid. They form on the anal verge, sometimes just inside the anus, sometimes just outside. Essentially, these hemorrhoid types are just veins whose walls have weakened and formed a protrusion which shows up as you described. Because the area is serviced by pain receptive nerves, they can be quite painful, although not always.

If it is an external hemorrhoid, it will vary over time, sometimes improving, sometimes worsening. It may even disappear periodically. Unfortunately, this tends to be a chronic condition and it is important to understand that it won’t go away permanently in the majority of cases. The best thing to do is to educate yourself about the condition, the factors that influence their formation, and what remedies are available to help yourself, now and in the future.

If what you have presents with any other symptoms, I would definitely look further into the topic and if you are still unsure, go see a doctor. Especially if it begins to bleed. Hemorrhoids can bleed, but there are other anorectal conditions such as colon cancer that do too.

Good Luck!

Donald asks…

How to get rid of Haemorrhoid’s completely and stop them from coming back again and again??

I am 20 years old and for around 4 years I have been suffering with really painful and irritating piles/haemorrhoid’s. I have one haemorrhoid on the external area of my anus and several on the internal (inside of my anus) area. I have recently had some Haemorrhoid’s banded via surgery and since then I have had more Haemorrhoid’s that have occured inside my anus. However the Haemorrhoid on the outside/internal area has been there for years and has never gone. I often get fungal infections because of the Haemorrhoid’s and i’m often on medication/creams to get rid of these bacterial, fungal infections that are being caused by excessive Haemorrhoid’s

For almost 2 years I Have took care in what foods I eat and I intake a lot of fibre, water, fruit etc…

I have also tried several creams and ointments and nothing seems to remove the internal and external haemorrhoid’s or even shrink them and get rid of the pain, discomfort and itching.

Please could somebody help me because it is really bothering me and the NHS couldn’t care less about me..

admin answers:

I am afraid even classical haemorroidectomy, which is seldom performed these days, does not guarantee that there will be no recurrence.

Robert asks…

Embarrassing Problem Down There?

I’ve been battling Bacterial Vaginosis since June of 2006. I was so scared that I had an STD that I didn’t get it checked until December 2006 (I was STD free).

Anyways in July 2007 I started noticing that I couldn’t go #2 without having intense burning and itching afterwards. This has caused me to always have to take extremely hot showers after I go #2 or else I can’t even walk.

It’s the not my anus that burns (which would be hemorrhoids) it’s the skin between my cheeks. I’m really embarrassed by this, but the BV has flared up again and I was treated with MetroGel in March 2009, but the burning and itching is still there.

Should I talk to my gyno about this? Can she prescribed something that will help? What should I say is happening? I’m totally embarrassed by this, but I’m finally getting brave and seeking help. What could be wrong? I’m 21 years old.

admin answers:

You should never be embarrassed by a medical problem that you can’t control. See your gyno about this. I’m sure there’s something she can prescribe as there are plenty of people with this same problem. When you wipe, either make sure that you dab, or wipe front to back. Never back to front as this will spread the bacteria from your fecal matter to other areas. Don’t be embarrassed.

Your Questions About What Causes Hemorrhoids

Thomas asks…

What should I do about chronic hemorrhoids?

I’m only 21 years old, and the last couple of times I had a bowel movement, I have had blood on the tissue paper. I’m assuming this is caused by hemorrhoids. What should I do?

admin answers:

Here are some useful tips for you

1. Apply a hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone, or use pads containing witch hazel or a topical numbing agent.

2. You have to take minimum eight or nine glasses of water per day. Also check the amount of fiber you are eating and adjust it accordingly.

3. Keep the anal area clean and dry. Take a bath or shower (a bath is much better) daily and clean the skin around your anus gently with warm water. Soap isn’t necessary and may aggravate the problem. You should dry the affected part of your body to avoid any irritations.

4. Apply ice packs or cold compresses on the anus to relieve swelling. Make sure the ice is wet and slippery, not sticky. Insert it in the anal hole like a normal suppository.

5. A Seitz bath fits over the toilet. For this treatment you will need one plastic tub with warm water. You can get one at a medical supply store or some pharmacies. It is suggested to use this treatment for 15 minutes three times in a day. This treatment will reduce pain and swelling most effectively, as this is an easier treatment for hemorrhoid relief. Or you could just buy some Epsom salts, and put them in a bath, then sit there for ten minutes to gain hemroid relief, longer if necessary.

6. Do not use dry toilet paper when wiping your ass. To help keep the anal area clean after a bowel movement, use wet and moist towels or wet toilet paper that doesn’t contain perfume or alcohol.

7. If coming from the anal hole, you can also try to gently push them back. Once they back in, the pain should disappear very quickly
.
8. Exercise your body. Keep in mind that staying on the toilet for more than five minutes at a time aggravates your hemorrhoids. Take several short walks a day.

9. You can find relief from hemorrhoids using a hemorrhoid cushion. A hemorrhoid cushion is an inflatable rubber ring, similar to the inflatable rings that kids wear at the beach. When you sit on it, the cushion is minimizing the contact pressure between the sitting surface and the hemorrhoid.

Hope this help

Robert asks…

Ibuprofen caused hemorrhoids?

My hemorrhoids started January 1, 2010. What a way to bring in the New Year! For the next five months they would flare up for a week, then disappear. I noticed they would return during my periods. I kept a food diary and the only change to my diet was ibuprofen. I stopped taking Alieve and Advil; I switched to telenol. No hemorrhoids this time… When you read the side affects of ibuprofen, it makes since. My heartburn disappeared too.

admin answers:

I’m not a doctor but I haven’t heard of this at all.

I do know however, that even though diet is the main cause of hemorrhoids, it’s not the only reason why hemorrhoids flare up.

Have you also been tracking your stress level? Any major life change?

Richard asks…

What is the base cause of hemorrhoids?

I’m not talking about sitting on the loo too long or whatever, but there must be some kind of deficiency that I’m causing in my kid. What should I be feeding him to make it go away?

Prep-H might cure the symptoms, but not the problem as I see it.

admin answers:

Hemmorhoids occur from straining too much when doing your business or from stools that are too large or too hard. Stool problems come from one or more of the following: Insufficient fiber, insufficient amount of liquids, insufficient exercise, malabsorption of electrolytes, neurological or muscle problems affecting intestinal contractions that keep things moving.

Fiber is easily increased by taking a tablet like FiberChoice or substituting a high fiber food for something in your diet. Insufficient liquids is also easy to fix: drink more fluids, or cut back on caffeine if you are already drinking a lot of fluids. Electrolytes can be boosted by taking a magnesium supplement once or twice per day.

Paul asks…

Hemorrhoids and Preperation H…?

I think i have a small case of hemorrhoids. I have tiny balls around my butthole that are very itchy! I bought some preperation H, and just started using it. Now will this go away on its own or do i also need to see a doctor? Anything to avoid paying to see a doctor would be great. Also.. what causes Hemorrhoids? Anyone know? Thanks so much!!

admin answers:

If they are hemorrhoids the preparation H help with pain and swelling.
Hemorrhoids are like varicose veins of the “butthole”
they are inflamed and swollen veins.
Causes: Constipation, Diarrhea, Pregnancy, ageing, and anal sex are all possible causes of hemorrhoids.
Treatment: hemorrhoid creams and soaks in warm water a few times a day.
The best cure is prevention. Figure out the cause and then practice prevention.

Laura asks…

Help wih hemorrhoids?

I need help! I think I might have some hemorrhoids. The problem is, I’m really uneducated in this area. What is a hemorrhoid? What causes hemorrhoids? How are they cured? What‘s the difference between internal and external?

admin answers:

Hemorrhoid is a swollen vein in the rectum. External hemorrhoid develop at the opening of the rectum, while internal hemorrhoid develop deeper above the dentate line. Hemorrhoids develop as a result of too much pressure put on the veins in the rectal area. The most common cause is constipation, but also pregnancy, overweight, overeating, sitting/standing for extended periods of time. Some other causes are acid/alkaline imbalance (body pH) and Vitamin B6 deficiency – both are causing weak veins, and weak veins give up faster, and hemorrhoids develop. Also some diseases like Irritable Bowel Syndrome and fatigue liver are causing hemorrhoids. At last but not least is genetic predisposition to weak veins – if there is a family history of hemorrhoids and/or weak veins.

The sooner you start with treatment the better it is. In most cases hemorrhoids don’t just go away by itself, they tend to become a real “pain in the a..”

A great natural treatment is Rue Care Oil. You can get it online. In addition to treating the hemorrhoids it is also important to treat the cause of hemorrhoids.

Your Questions About Hemorrhoids And Surgery

Robert asks…

Do I have to go private to sort out my hemorrhoids?

Hey Guys,
need help. I developed quite a few hemorrhoids through pregnancy, and they become worse after the birth. Every time I had appoitment, I mentioned it to the doctor, who has never checked me. I have changed surgeries recently and booked for smear test and asked whether my anus could be checked too which was OKyed, but when I came there, the doctor did the test, but didn’t want to check the hemorhoids saying she knew good ointment and I should try that first. It didn’t help at all, and I have one now, which is painfull all the time, no need to go to the loo…

I am embarressed about having this, but feel even more embaressed about having to keep asking doctors to look at me without result. Lost trust in my GP too, since she does’t listen(and I never had any other health problem).

What shoul I do?

P.S. I don’t suffer from hygiene problem or anything like that-no reason why GP should be reluctant to check me up….

admin answers:

I am sorry to hear about your situation, it must be really hard to be continuing to report your medical check request and receiving poor patient service. It seems your health has been de-prioritized by some poor practicing physicians. I would continue to re-state my needs, report that you have had some bleeding, and your would like a referral to specialist. You may also consider filing a complaint form if your needs continue to receive little attention. Good Luck

Laura asks…

I’m 15 and have hemorrhoids?

I’ve had them for 2 days now and the pain is starting to become really intense. It hurts to even sit let alone walk. My parents have gotten me witch hazel which I have been applying but I don’t know if it’s working and I also have taken sitz baths. Im really afraid that it will get to the point of surgery:/ how long should these hemorrhoids last? If I go to the doctor, will they most likely prescribe me medication for now? How much longer should I wait to go to the doctor and is there any other home remedies I could use to get rid of my hemorrhoids? Please help!

admin answers:

The best thing for you is suppositories. They can be inserted and left to melt. I know this sounds silly but it really will help alot until you can ease the pain and itch.

Should you take metamucil while ill with diarrhea?

At present I have a chronic problem with diarrhea, close to a year, I can”t tell you all the meds. I”ve taken……..to no avail, it always returns, no temp and no pain. At the same time I have fissures, no hemorrhoids. Had a little surgery to spincter muscle with immediate relief for a number of weeks. I ask in a most respectful way…whats the cure. Will metamucil help me. Be a hero …. save me. Thanks. Problem is back. Pain, pain.

Paul asks…

External Hemorrhoids?

Can external hemorrhoids be removed completly with out surgery?

I am only 21 and have recently discovered i have 2 small lumps around my anus which i believe are hemorrhoids.

Is it possible for these to go away?

admin answers:

Hemorrhoids are caused by weak blood vessels, due to lack of certain nutrients, and too much sitting (discovered because it is very common for truck/bus drivers).

You can take a vitamin called rutin bioflavinoids which (naturally found in lemons) which will heal them but may take a couple of months. After that you may want to think about increasing your fruit and vegetable in take as well as a bit less sitting if this is part of the cause.

Hope this helps

Your Questions About Hemorrhoids And Surgery

John asks…

Questions on preventing hemorrhoids ?

I just went through a massive reconstructive hip surgery. I am going to be either in a wheelchair or bed for about 2 months. I am sort of scared that with all this sitting on my butt that I may be at risk for getting a hemorrhoid! I am usually very athletic, and I’m not used to being so immobile. Do you have any tips about how to stay away from them? Anything helps!
Btw I’m almost 15 years old. Pretty young for hip surgery!!! Thanks!

Stay away from refried beans

Is there anyway to get rid of haemorrhoid’s without surgery? tmi?

I got them from giving birth to my son (who’s now 3.5). Im pregnant with our second and am scared they will worsen from this delivery. They don’t hurt, and really only flared up (and by that i mean became apparent that they were still there) when i had a bit of constipation a couple weeks back. I am pushing them back in whenever they come out as recommended by my midwife from my first child – what else can i do?
As i said, they don’t hurt, its just annoying knowing they are there and embarrassing during sex aswell!!

admin answers:

There are medications that can only address inflammation of the hemorrhoids, but it won’t help at all if you want to get rid of it. Surgery is needed in order to permanently get rid of it.

Susan asks…

Is HAEMORRHOID associated with stomach ulcer and pregnancy in women?

What is the relationship between constipication and haemorrhoids? Could constipication lead to surgery?

admin answers:

Haemorrhoids are not linked to stomach ulcers. Stomach ulcers are linked to increased acid production, alcohol intake and H.Pylori infection.

Haemorrhoids occur when the vascular beds near the anal sphincter become inflamed and enlarged. This may cause pain, itch and fresh rectal bleeding. They are very common and can occur at any age.

They are more common in those with constipation and those who strain frequently to pass stool. It is thought the increased work of the anal sphincter causes enlargement of the vascular beds.

They are also more common during pregnancy and this is thought to be due to the increased blood flow and venous return during pregnancy.

In regards to your question about constipation- It is not treated with surgery. First line treatment for mild constipation is to increase dietary fibre. Second line treatment is bulk forming laxatives such as Movicol. If this doesnt work then the person is usually given a series of enemas. If the constipation is very severe the person my be sedated and the bowels will be evacuated.

Charles asks…

What do I do about Hemorrhoids?

I noticed swelling around my anus and looked it up online and realized I may have a mild, early case of a hemorrhoid. I have never bled out of my anus, even though that seems to be one of the symptoms, and it never hurts. I was wondering if I could prevent further swelling/ make it go away without having surgery.

admin answers:

Of course it is best to consult your doctor to prevent it from becoming a chronic problem. But hemorrhoids can also be treated using natural remedies. Your Questions About What Causes Hemorrhoids To Bleed

Mark asks…

How much blood loss from hemorrhoids is dangerous?

my mother has severe hemorrhoids, probably caused from her liver cirrhosis. She bleeds a lot from this sometimes, and her doctors are basically idiots and refuse to comprehend how much blood she is losing. They told her that it probably just seems like a lot to her, when it’s not, or that she feels weak for some other reason.

Well, she had one of these bleeding episodes yesterday and after the bleeding began, she was able to catch 1 full cup of blood. Besides this, the toilet was filled with blood, and there was blood on the floor, etc.

She estimates that she lost at least 2 cups of blood.

And, this was just one episode. She goes through this all the time. She was bleeding again last night.

At what point should the blood loss be a concern?

admin answers:

It is very difficult to assess the amount of blood lost. Even the doctors will not be able to tell exactly. In severe conditions of hemorrhoids bleeding takes place frequently or excessively.Hemorrhoids can develop from any increase in pressure in the veins in the lower rectum. But it may be so due to Liver cirrhosis also.

Hemorrhoid bleeding usually depend on the affected location:
Internal hemorrhoids You can’t see or feel these hemorrhoids. But straining or irritation from passing stool can injure a hemorrhoid’s delicate surface and cause it to bleed. You may notice small amounts of bright red blood on your toilet tissue or in the toilet bowl water. Because internal anal membranes lack pain-sensitive nerve fibers, these hemorrhoids usually don’t cause discomfort. Occasionally, straining can push an internal hemorrhoid through the anal opening. If a hemorrhoid remains displaced (prolapsed), it can cause pain and irritation.

Second one is External hemorrhoids.- These hemorrhoids tend to be painful. Sometimes blood may pool in an external hemorrhoid and form a clot (thrombus), causing severe pain, swelling and inflammation. When irritated, external hemorrhoids can itch or bleed.

The best treatment, I have known is, surgery. I request you to consult your doctor or have a second opinion from another doctor and arrange for surgery immediately, or otherwise it may lead to various other complications and fissures can form around the anus and sometimes in between rectum and vagina. In such developments they may do a diversion COLOSTOMY to give relief for the colon. It is a very expensive and troublesome affair in which stool will be collected in a bad from the cut made in the colon and through an opening at the stomach.

I would therefore request you not to blame the Doctor and knowing how much blood she has lost or loosing will not help you. Her immediate requirement is correct treatment or surgery, which please attend. I wish your mother for a speedy recovery from the problem. -

Mandy asks…

Little worried bout my recent bowel movements!!?

I am a 29 yr old woman and have had hemorrhoidsds since I was 15. I about a year ago started having bloody bowel movements. Started out a little blood and got heavier and heavier. I only bleed when they are hard and difficult movements. I had a colonoscopy bout 6 months ago and he said I definately had internal and external hemorrhoids and thats what was causing the bleeding. This past weekend I had a little diarreah and some blood from the aggrevating of my hemmroids I guess. This morning is my first movement since the weekend, of coarse it was difficult and bloody. Only difference is the blood was darker and had a not so “crappy” smell. Think there is now more to be concerned with or what????

admin answers:

More then likely you have nothing to worry about, and with the doc telling you that you have both internal and external there isn’t really much you can do about it.
You could go through with surgery… I am sure you doc tried to convince you of that idea, but the thing with that is more times then not they come back and are worse.
With the difference in the blood color most of the time it is nothing to worry about, the darker blood is just dried,.. Think end of your period blood ok. As long as the doc didn’t say anything about you having colon pol ups you are good to go, and I am sure he was concerned with that and is why he did the colonoscopy.
Try increasing your water intake and try and find a yogurt that you like, also if it is anything like mine you know spicy food will really tear you up, other wise you ought to be fine.
Always remember you can always contact the doc the did the colonoscopy and let him know what is going on.

Nancy asks…

This is really gross but, I’ve been bleeding from my anus when i go to the bathroom. Anybody know why?

I know it’s not hemorrhoids because i don’t have any pain or bumps or whatever. However, i was experiencing some itching but i don’t think that would be the cause of my bleeding, but what do i know?

This is gross, but i really would appreciate an honest response.

admin answers:

You really need to go to the doctor.

Hemorrhoids?

I had my daughter 2 months ago, and now i have hemorriods. bleeding ones. it really freaks me out i mean there isnt a ton of blood maybe about the same amount as a small cut. i want to change my diet but i have to be carefull with high fiber food exspcially the veggies because they cause her a lot of gas. can i take a fiber supplement? what kind of fruits are the highest fiber content? its pretty embarassing to tell everyone on yahoo you have hemorrhoids! but what is a good treatment. i read hyrdrocortisone to reduce swelling but if its internal.. well how does that work. ew. lol thank you guys.
oh and i have really no itching or pain. just blood when i go to the bathroom. but i made my mom look (what a good mom, to look at her 22 year old daughter behind) and she said she can see them. so i guess thats what it is. it kinda feels like tearing when im going to the bathroom. ok seriously sorry if its TMI.

admin answers:

I assume because your daughter gets gas from your veggies you are nursing? Awesome job if you are. I have hemmoroids got them after the birth of my son. I use over the counter hemmoroid cream for the pain when they flair up as for the constipation part I always try to drink plenty of water it helps alot with the constipation. I do eat alot of wheat bread the whole grain stuff to get plenty of fiber. And if they continue to bleed for longer than a day then I would go to the doc. Cause that is not good. They can lance them if they are bad enough. And the swelling does go down after a little while good luck with them. And congrats on your daughter :)

I forgot to add that also you need to get the wipes for the bathroom cause that helps to wipe off you really don’t want to use toilet paper when they flare up. I would use either the tucks or the childrens toilet wipes.

William asks…

Hemorrhoid question?

I recently went to the doctor and he explained to me that I have an external hemorrhoids for sure. He had given me a cream and suppository, and told me to let him know if I bled within 5 days of using this medicine. Well I bled twice, but it was more so a streak of blood in the bowel itself which I’ve really never seen before, and a little bright blood on the toilet paper. Now the reason why I saw him is because I became really constipated for a couple of days, and the hemorrhoid just got a lot more swollen, so that’s when I said I need to see a doctor. The cream worked like a charm and shrunk my external one drastically. But until recently there’s been very little blood in the water of the toilet, but some in the feace it self like a streak. Now I am over-weight, and all I do at my job is stand up for hours. What should I do? Is the blood streak in my feace just my hemorrhoid? Could it have been the suppository that caused the bleeding?

admin answers:

If it was only a streak in the feces it was probably from the hemorrhoid. It is probably fine. I would suggest a high diet in fiber and or a daily fiber laxative. If your stools are tarry and black or dark green it could actually be blood in the stool, your doctor can send home a collection kit if you are worried about it and return the sample to the doctor for testing, but I highly suspect you just need more fiber in your diet and more water. Good luck! Hope this helps.
